Viking Ocean Cruises
In 2015, Viking debuted its inaugural ocean ship with the christening of the 930-guest all-veranda Viking Star. Subsequently, Viking Sea set sail a year later, followed by sister ships Viking Sky and Viking Sun in 2017. Expanding its fleet, Viking welcomed Viking Orion in 2018 and Viking Jupiter in 2019, solidifying its position as the leading small ship ocean cruise line. Four additional ships, yet to be named, are slated for launch by 2023.
Viking's acclaimed ships are meticulously engineered to navigate into most ports directly, ensuring seamless embarkation and disembarkation for guests. Each vessel features a private veranda in every stateroom, multiple dining venues offering exquisite culinary experiences, extensive al fresco dining options, an infinity pool, a Nordic-inspired spa, panoramic Explorers' Lounge, and carefully curated book collections throughout—a harmonious blend of sophistication and comfort.
The base ocean cruises span from 8 to 15 days, with meticulously crafted itineraries aimed at maximizing travelers' time at each destination. Destinations encompass Northern Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic, the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Americas, the Caribbean, as well as combination cruises ranging from 22 to 50 days.
